Ralph and I just got back from Madeleine Academy where our son, Ken Matthew, bagged a ‘Prompt’ special award in their Recognition day. Hmmnn, Prompt… to be honest, this is the first time I have ever heard of such an award! I know what ‘prompt’ means but for it to be associated with Ken who’s infamously known to be more of a dillydallier, the award seems rather an irony.
The weather was very windy to the point where I wished I had not worn my hair down! I have been attending most of Ken’s school activities in the past sporting something like what most laundrywoman would normally be seen in, that is, hair tied up like a school teacher and in the absence of a glamorous hair tie. This afternoon though, I thought I would show up looking fresh and hip! It’s not everyday that people see me outside of the house! Oh well, it turned out to be such a disaster as my hip-length hair was flying in a complete disarray. So much for wanting a hippie look!
Ralph, as usual, was as responsive as a lethargic tadpole! People around us, if not waving, were yelling their greetings. Good thing I had enough energy to put on a celebrity attitude, otherwise people would have thought that I was holding him at gunpoint the entire time! I think the very first line he muttered when he finally found his voice to speak was “We have got to find a way to find more clients!” I’m like “Hello! Can we not talk about business for just two hours?” That was so utterly frustrating!

Vhinleah Celis
Anyway, on a more brighter note, guess who showed up there looking as gorgeous as ever? I’ll give you a hint: I have not seen her for five long years and she’s one of my closest relatives! Who else, but the alluring Vhinleah Celis! It has never crossed my mind that she could come home from United Kingdom for Patrick’s recognition! Patrick is her youngest son and Ken’s classmate as well. I didn’t even know she was in town! Oh well, I guess I am to blame for that. One time, I deleted all of my friends from our Facebook list, and I mean entirely ALL, thereby missing out on a lot of updates from friends and relatives, all of whom I failed to add back. Not that I didn’t want to, I just couldn’t keep track of them all. Back to Vhinleah, she now has that English accent when she spoke English to Ralph. When I did mention it, she became so self-conscious that she barely spoke English again! LOL.
There were a couple of mothers there who looked stunning! Some worthy of mention were Geraldine Lentejas (wife of Biboy Jocson) and Tita Tingting Tuvilla, who never ceased to amaze me with how she maintains her sexy figure. Of course, I’m super jealous!
After I went up to the stage to pin Ken’s ribbon, Ralph and I immediately took off, did some errands and went straight home. It’s been fun to go out once in a while. Moreover, It was very nice indeed to see my cousin and share smiles and nods with the mothers who rarely ever see me around, although that doesn’t stop them from making me the front page of their rumor mill when they’re at it.
Ralph & Dia married since 26th of November 2009
